About Me
Hi, I’m Madison Owenby — a singer, student, and full-time lover of all things music.
I was raised in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia, where I grew up with the coast in my backyard and all the charm that comes with southern living. Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I started piano lessons at 8 and picked up my first guitar at 12 — and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Growing up, I visited Franklin, North Carolina often — and every time, I fell a little more in love with the mountains, the people, and the pace of life here. Eventually, I decided to pack my bags and make the move. Now, I call Franklin home.
These days, life is busy in the best way. I’m a dog mom, a full-time student at Western Carolina University studying Business Administration, Law, and Marketing, and I work at a local spot called Gracious Plates on Main to help support myself through school. I’ve always believed in staying active and learning through experience — both in life and in music.
Right now, I perform cover sets that span decades and genres. I love reading the room and tailoring my sets to the vibe — whether that’s laid back and groovy or upbeat and soulful. While I’m working on original music, performing live lets me connect with people and grow as an artist in real time.
At the end of the day, music is where my heart is. I’m so thankful to be part of this community — one that values connection, creativity, and heart.
Thanks for being here. You can follow my journey on social media (linked on the homepage). I’d love your support and can’t wait to see where this road leads.
With love,
Madison
